Samrat Upadhyay

Samrat Upadhyay (b. 1964) is an award-winning Nepali-American author, best known for writing fiction in English that explores the complexities of Nepali society, identity, and transformation. He holds the distinction of being the first Nepali-born fiction writer in English published in the West, and his works have introduced Nepal’s cultural, political, and emotional landscape to
