Surendra Bikram Shah

Surendra Bikram Shah (1829–1881) was the sixth King of Nepal, reigning from 1847 until his death in 1881. Although he held the title of king for over three decades, Surendra was effectively a figurehead monarch, with real power wielded by the Rana prime ministers, beginning with Jung Bahadur Rana. His reign marked the consolidation of
