The Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) is an autonomous, government-owned health sciences institute located in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha District, in Madhesh Province, Nepal. Established in 2021, MIHS was created with the goal of addressing regional disparities in healthcare education, service, and research by developing a robust medical education system tailored to local needs.

Academic Programs at MIHS
All academic programs at MIHS are approved by the Medical Education Commission (MEC) of Nepal and follow a competitive entrance system. Here are the key courses offered:
1. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
