Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences (MBAHS) is a provincial autonomous medical academy located in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province, Nepal. Established in 2018, MBAHS was named after the late Madan Bhandari, a renowned Nepalese political leader who advocated for social equity, justice, and community development.
MBAHS stands as Nepal’s first provincial health sciences institution, launched with the objective of addressing the region’s pressing healthcare and educational needs through localized governance, professional training, and community-centric health systems.
